These sweet brownie-like balls are so quick and easy to make, and their tasty chewiness hits the spot when you fancy a little sweetness. For recipes like this one I find it quickest and easiest to measure things out in cups (the size of a tea cup).
- 1 cup of medjool dates
- 2 cups of pecan nuts
- 1 tablespoon of cacao powder
- In a food processor blend all ingredients together until everything is well combined and dough like in consistency.
- To make the balls, spoon out a tablespoon of mixture at a time, rolling it between the palms of your hands to make bite sized balls.
- Store the balls in a container in the fridge, allowing at least 1 hour for them to set before eating.
