I will be running a 3 night/4 day nutrition and wellbeing retreat set in a stunning location in the South of France, from 14th to 17th June 2019.
Why go on a retreat?
I’m a huge believer in bringing nutrition and wellness into a more interactive environment and this small, friendly and informal retreat will equip you to return home with a renewed sense of purpose and optimism. Making the commitment to put yourself and your health first for a change is a really positive step and just spending time in such beautiful surroundings – far from the distractions of everyday life – will go a long way to helping focus the mind and the body. My goal is that everyone will leave feeling energised, rebalanced and positive about their own future health.
Where does it take place?
The beautifully restored farmhouse, exclusively hired for our group, is set in a rich landscape of olive groves, vineyards, forests and orchards, and overlooks the ancient market town of Nyons – world famous for its olive oil, microclimate and exceptional air quality. The tranquil, largely undiscovered area offers dramatic and spectacular mountainous landscapes. All rooms, decorated with a mix of modern and vintage style, with views across the valley and facilities include an outdoor pool and glass fronted yoga studio with breath-taking views.
What to expect:
The days will be filled with great company, invigorating walks in the valley, dips in the pool and of course a big focus will be the delicious, freshly prepared menu which I will be creating alongside the talented chef.
I will be providing daily nutrition and lifestyle talks and demonstrations for the group based on my guiding nutrition and wellbeing principles of positive nutrition and enjoyment of food and with a focus on supporting optimal hormone, digestive and immune health.
I hope that the relaxed, yet nurturing environment will allow for guests to be as active or as restful as they feel. There will be time each day to explore the beautiful surroundings, including the local village with its cafes or to simply enjoy the grounds of the farmhouse and find the perfect spot for reading and reflection.
As well as walking there will be plenty of chance to enjoy stretching the limbs, whether poolside taking in the morning sun, or from the glass fronted yoga studio enjoying wonderful sunset views across the valley, as yoga will be provided (optionally) by an onsite yoga teacher. From gentle stretch and breathing, energising yoga flow, restorative yoga and gentle yin yoga through to power yoga there will be something for all abilities. Additional activities available include on-site massage and and explorative walks around the surrounding area.
More detail on what will be covered during the retreat can be found here. Spaces on the retreat are limited to 12 as I wish to keep this retreat small, friendly, supportive and informal.
The cost of the three night/four day retreat is £750 (excluding optional massage), Eurostar/flights to Avignon or Marseille are additional. Transfers to the farmhouse can be arranged at a small extra cost.
To secure your place I am asking for a 50% deposit, please email me here, and I will send you payment details and additional information. Please note that rooms are sharing.
