Clinical Support Groups
for Nutritional Therapists & Nutrition Students
A safe, supportive space to gain confidence, develop clinical skills, and grow your business.
with Nicola Moore
You don’t have to do this alone
Being a self-employed nutritional therapist—or a nutrition student in training—can feel overwhelming and isolating.
After all the time, energy, and money you've invested in your education, you might have expected things to flow more smoothly by now. But instead, you might be:
Second-guessing your clinical decisions
Unsure about lab tests, supplement choices, or complex client cases
Struggling with confidence when working with real clients
Finding it difficult to turn your passion into a thriving business
Feeling lonely, missing the peer support and guidance you had during training
Or, if you're a student, you might be:
Feeling out of your depth with case study work
Uncertain about applying theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios
Worrying about making the right clinical decisions in training clinic cases
But here’s what I know: success in this field doesn’t come from working alone.
Every great practitioner has a network of support—people they can turn to for clinical insight, business advice, and encouragement.
That’s exactly what my Clinical Support Groups offer.
Why I created these groups
I’ve been where you are.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked as a practising nutritional therapist. I also spent 12 years in senior academic roles at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), where I was deeply involved in student training and mentoring. As Head of Clinics for four years, I helped hundreds of students and practitioners build their confidence, develop their clinical reasoning, and navigate the challenges of practice.
During my own career, I’ve seen first-hand how valuable it is to have trusted colleagues to bounce ideas off, share experiences with, and turn to when uncertainty creeps in.
Yet, many practitioners—especially newly qualified ones—don’t have that support. That’s why I started these groups: to give you a space to grow, learn, and gain confidence in your work.

“Nicola brings a wealth of knowledge, warmth and humour to the support group and I have learnt so much. I have observed Nicola give advice on a range of different cases and I have found this invaluable as both a student and now as a practitioner. We discuss the many different angles you can approach a case from and I'm always learning about a fresh approach with food, lifestyle and supplement ideas. I always leave the support group feeling educated, inspired and eager to see my clients with some new tricks up my sleeve! I’m convinced that if I hadn’t joined, I’d probably still be stalling about seeing my first client as a graduate. The group was my “push” and safety blanket all in one. I can’t imagine practicing, even with more experience, without a group like this! I believe this is ESSENTIAL for career development and giving my clients the best possible service."

“When you finally graduate as a nutritional therapist, it can be both exhilarating and frightening. How to start, to take great case histories, to give the best advice, to know everything there is to know about nutrition - these were only some of the worries I had after graduation. When I started attending the monthly group coaching sessions, I had started seeing some clients, but was still terrified. As most of the nutritionists in my group shared similar anxieties, Nicola encouraged and helped us to find our own individual ways of working with clients. There were so many ‘aha’ moments and with every session I found myself relaxing more and more (also because Nicola is a very warm and friendly person). I cannot recommend working with Nicola enough, I am forever grateful to have found her coaching, which has put me at ease and taught me to enjoy the process.” - Ernesta Jakučionė

An Investment in Your Growth
I know firsthand the financial pressures that come with being a student, graduate, or practitioner trying to build a successful career. That’s why I’ve deliberately kept this membership affordable—because I want this support to be accessible to those who need it most.
But here’s the thing: Success in this profession isn’t just about knowledge—it’s about confidence, resilience, and connection.
Yes, this is an extra monthly expense. But it’s one that pays you back in ways that truly matter:
✔️ Clinical confidence – No more second-guessing your decisions or spending hours researching alone. You'll have expert guidance when you need it.
✔️ Emotional wellbeing – A space where you feel supported, encouraged, and reassured, rather than overwhelmed and isolated.
✔️ Business growth – The insights, shared experiences, and practical advice you gain here will make your practice stronger, more sustainable, and ultimately, more profitable.
Too many practitioners struggle because they try to do everything alone. But you don’t have to.
